When a potential customer, who doesn’t know you, clicks on your ad and lands on your website…
There is no trust and no relationship at the beginning …
For this reason, asking them to buy from you, i.e. to make a financial commitment is a big obstacle in your conversions.
They don’t know you, so why should they trust you?
You still don’t present any credibility in their eyes.
Trust is a process. That’s why you need a method by which to create that “I know you, I like you, I trust you” factor so that you establish your credibility and earn their trust.
And there are several ways you can build your credibility as an expert…

– Live broadcasts
And of all these options, I firmly believe that…
Email is the most effective channel to increase your sales.
In fact, you can make much better use of all the other methods above with email.
For example, if you post something on your Facebook page, there’s no guarantee that your fans, no matter how many of them there are, will see your post.
So how do you get them to notice what you post?
Well, if you have a list of email addresses, you can send an email inviting them to visit your Facebook page. The same goes if you write a blog post or upload a video to YouTube. If you have a list of email addresses, you can connect with your audience with a single click. That’s the incredible power of email.
Early in my career in sales and entrepreneurship, I learned how important it is to get people to like and trust you.
Therefore, when writing emails, this should be your number one priority. Building credibility to build and scale your business.
Email isn’t just about making sales, it’s also about creating a connection.
It’s important to create a relationship with your subscribers.
Over time, they will begin to see you as a trusted and authoritative person, which will eventually increase your influence in your subscriber list.
This should be your primary goal with your emails.
Of course you want to sell. But at the same time, if you oversell through emails, you’ll lose credibility pretty quickly.
So, your emails serve several purposes:
– First, to connect with people.
– Create a relationship with them.
– To promote and sell what you have to offer
Now, how do you create the connection with people? How do you become the person they’re looking for? Well, uh…
You have to understand what your audience wants.
You need to know about the people on your list:
– What are the things they want to hear?
– What are the things that inspire them?
So how do you start writing emails?
I’m going to show you the 5 steps I personally use to write emails, which after almost 9 years of practice, I can tell you with all confidence are guaranteed to attract and sell.
1. Imagine who you’re talking to
Before you start writing an email, imagine one person.
Don’t think of dozens, hundreds or even thousands of people who may read your email.
When I sit down to write, I ask myself the following questions:
– What does this person want to hear?
– How can I inspire her?
– How can I better connect with this person?
It’s important to start with that mindset – that you’re there to make a connection with them.
Don’t think, “I need to sell a product.”
Forget about these things for a second.
Of course you want to sell and increase your sales…
Yes, that’s the ultimate goal, but first and foremost, it’s important to think about that person you’re going to inspire and influence.
– What are her pains?
– What are her struggles?
– What are her frustrations?
– What is important to her?
– What does she need to hear from you?
This is the main thing I think about when I write an email.
However, there’s something you can’t ignore…
2. Think about the competition
The reason it’s important to think about the competition is because, let’s face it, we don’t market in a vacuum.
You’re marketing in a sea of other marketers. Whether it’s Facebook or email, the same philosophy applies.
There are many other posts they can look at instead of your post or your email!
So if you say the same thing everyone else is saying, eventually people will lose interest in you.
No matter how valuable your information is…
If you don’t differentiate yourself to your potential customers, they won’t listen.
The things I’m always thinking about are…
– How can I help them?
– How can I connect with them?
And at the same time…
– How can I make my message different?
– How can I stand out from the myriad of topics landing in my subscriber’s inbox?
I always take a little time to answer the following questions:
– What am I going to write about?
– What do I want to talk to my audience about today?
– What can I say that will inspire them?
This is an important question.
And there are countless possibilities you can refer to for good ideas.
My favorite source is my own life, because let’s face it…
That’s what makes us all unique!
3. Tell stories
When you talk about your own life and tell your own stories, they will automatically be different from others.
Even if you promote the same product or service as many others, when you talk about yourself and your story…
And many people will identify with your stories.
So that’s my first source of inspiration – my own life and my own stories.
For example, you can talk about…
– Your children
Similarly, you can talk about a…
– Birthday party you went to
– Conversation you had with someone
– Concert you attended
When you talk about a “slice” of your life, you make things more interesting.
At the same time…
You create an emotional connection with your audience, because you’re a little vulnerable.
4. Stand out
Don’t forget that you’re not the only one sending emails to your prospects.
So you need a compelling subject line that provokes curiosity, that makes your email stand out and says …
“Click me open – now!”
It’s very important to give yourself some time to think about the subject of your email.
It is important to:
– Get the attention of your subscribers,
– Create curiosity and
– To convey “Open me now!”
Because that’s what most people think when they browse through the stream of incoming emails or the stream of posts, videos they access on Social Media …
From Their Smartphone!
Most people are on their phones right now, browsing quickly and looking for something to catch their attention.
And even if they come across something from someone they like and trust, they’ll keep browsing, unless …
It provokes their curiosity or is so compelling that they have to read it now.
Otherwise, they’ll say …
“I’ll come back to that later.”
But since they’re always busy, later never comes.
Because that’s our human nature.
If you get a hundred e-mails a day, you forget 99% of them.
It’s important to find a way to phrase your subject line so that you get their attention and they want to read your email – right now!
Always your subject line should create curiosity.
I’ll give you some examples in a moment.

When you read it, don’t you want to know what it’s about?
How to eliminate all competition
This is more of a benefits-oriented topic, but the word “eliminates” is provocative and compelling.
Exactly what our audience wants.
You must be here
When you read this, your mind thinks, “I must be where?”
So guess what?
This question will entice you to read the email.
Again, it’s nothing revolutionary; it’s just using a simple phrase that opens a question in the minds of our subscribers.
These were just a few examples to warm your inspiration and creativity.
As long as you know what your subscribers want, you can use topics that talk to them about how to get those things.
So give yourself time to think your topics through, because that’s how you differentiate yourself from the crowd of look-alikes in the marketplace.
The last part of your email is the most important part and that is the call to action.
Here you tell them to “sign up here” or take whatever action you want them to take.
It’s important to always include a call to action in every email.
Don’t wait until your third, fourth or seventh email to direct the reader to your product, service or business.
It’s very important to make your intentions clear and set the right expectations from the start so they don’t feel cheated later and start wondering: “But why are you promoting something to me?”
